Welcome to the Mainstream web site. As a Mainstream author we want you to feel involved with the company. We hope that this web site will answer any questions you might have about the publishing process and enable you to play an active role in the marketing of your book on line.
On-line bookshops
www.amazon.co.uk have
their own section for author comments. It is well worth visiting the site
to add any comments you have about your book and perhaps reviews which
have appeared in the press.
Please bear in mind that if we hold US rights your book will not appear on www.amazon.com until we release it to our US distributor, Trafalgar Square. They usually distribute our books about six months after publication.

The best reviews will be posted in the BROWSE AND BUY section, click on First Page and Reviews and you will see the opening lines from your book and a selection of the best reviews. If you wish you may post these in the Authors comments section of Amazon.
HOW DO I BUY ADDITIONAL COPIES OF MY BOOK?
As an author you are entitled to author discount on additional copies of your book. This facility is not yet available on line so to place an order please call the general office number on + 44 131 557 2959 or e-mail enquires@mainstreampublishing.com
What can you do to help sales

The author questionnaire is one of the most important aspects of our marketing campaign. Hard copies are sent out with the contract but if you havenÍt filled in a copy already the questionnaire is now available on line. Please fill it in and mail back to us at marketing@mainstreampublishing.com
Other web sites
Many of our authors become aware of relevant web sites during the research stage of their book. Some even have their own web site or belong to clubs or institutions with their own web sites whose members would be interested in their book.
It would help your sales enormously if you could contact any sites you think would be relevant to your book and ask them to set up a link to our site at the time of publication. We are happy to set up a reciprocal link.
Please be wary of generating publicity before books are available. It is a common mistake, which can result in lost sales, and disappointed customers so don't be too eager!
