The Mail on Sunday ran their extract from The Iron Duke by Bobby Windsor on Sunday 5 September
News of the World are running their extract from 50 Years on the Street by William Roache (aka Ken Barlow) on 26 September
The Daily Record will run one extract from Hail, Hail by Martin Hannan and Follow, Follow by Iain Duff the last week in September
The Daily Mail is running an extract from Behind Enemy Lines by Sir Tommy Macpherson with Richard Bath between 18 September and 2 October.
Shaun Atwood, author of Hard Time was interviewed by The Guardian Society pages on 1 September. Not only did he have a full page inside but also graced the front cover. It was an excellent piece, written by Erwin James, a veteran of the British prison.
Red Men by John Williams has had two great reviews recently. Firstly it was Book of the Week in The Independent, and this was followed by a glowing review in The Guardian, written by Huw Richards. he said 'Every club should have a chronicle like this.'
Tony Ross, author of Dear Joan, was interviewed at length by Anne Diamond on BBC Radio London on Saturday 28 August. She called it 'a beautiful, beautiful book'. The following day an extract ran in the Mail on Sunday's YOU magazine. The review in Saga Magazine's November edition will hit the shelves later this month.

We were sorry to say goodbye to Ailsa Morrison who handled our events so well for the last few years. She leaves us to become events supremo at a charity for the deaf. We wish her well.
