McCRAE'S BATTALION has remained a consistent bestseller since it was first published in October 2003. I was still no.1 on our Scottish bestseller list when the paperback edition was published in September 2004 and remains there now though some newly published titles will be clamouring for the No.1 spot when the next bestseller list is published next month.

With Friends in High PlacesWITH FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES by Malcolm Slesser, which is sitting at No.3 in the current bestseller list, has had some terrific media coverage. It was short listed for the prestigious Boardman Tasker prize for mountain literature which took place in October 2004.
