New Acquisition:

Bible John's Secret DaughterMainstream is delighted to have acquired the rights to BIBLE JOHN'S SECRET DAUGHTER by investigative journalist, David Leslie. A real-life CSI or Waking the Dead, it is the true story of how police have recently found a woman whose DNA could identify a serial killer from the 1960s. Known as 'Bible John' because he liked to recite the scriptures to his victims before attacking them, the serial killer was never caught. One of his victims, Hannah Martin, escaped but went on to have a daughter as a result of the rape. From that moment her life spiralled out of control as she was thrown out of home by her father, gave up her daughter and eventually died alone and in poverty. Recently, in connection with a completely unrelated case, police discovered Hannah Martin's adopted daughter and therefore, through her, now have DNA which could identify the elusive serial killer Bible John. Serial rights have already been sold and Mainstream will publish in July.
