We have had an offer from Turkey for ONCE I WAS A PRINCESS by Jacqueline Pascarl Gillespie, whose children were also snatched by her husband, and have been told to expect an offer for Czech rights for both ONCE I WAS A PRINCESS and NO ONE TAKES MY CHILDREN any day now.
Publicity is pouring in. NO ONE TAKES MY CHILDREN is confirmed for LK TODAY with Lorraine Kelly on ITV1. It's the UK's largest Breakfast Show with over 6 million viewers. Interviews are also confirmed in The Sun and The Times.
The Sunday Times have just confirmed that they will review MASTERS OF THE BAIZE and RING OF HATE.
Awards DAYS LIKE THESE by Jamie Reid has been short-listed for the William Hill / Inside Edge Gambling Book Award 2005. The winner will be announced on 31 March at Borders on Oxford Street.
Film / TV This year is the 60th Anniversary of the end of WWII, which has resulted in an enormous amount of interest in IN HITLER'S BUNKER by Armin Lehmann. According to the BBC who have interviewed Armin for a special documentary to be aired in May he is the last person alive to have been in Hitler's Bunker during the last ten days of the war. Oliver North has also interviewed Armin for his programme 'War Stories' to air on Fox TV on 8 May.
The
US Television Premiere of CONFESSIONS OF A SOCIOPATHIC SOCIAL CLIMBER based
on the bestselling novel by Adèle Lang starring Jennifer Love-Hewitt
premiered on 12 March at 8pm on the Oxygen Network. CONFESSIONS (WHAT KATYA
DID NEXT) is out of print in the UK but another of Adele's books, HOW
TO SPOT A B*STARD BY HIS STAR SIGN, co-written with Susi Rajah,
is a consistent bestseller.
EventsCharles Nevin was the guest at a 'meet the author' session at Darwen Library Theatre on 3 March. He gave a lecture and answered questions on LANCASHIRE: WHERE WOMEN DIE OF LOVE to celebrate World Book Day.

Hewitt was invited to a conference hosted by Harrow Council last month
to read from his book, THE LOOKED AFTER KID, which documents
his own experiences growing up in the care system.

It's good to see that TERROR TRACKER by Neil Doyle
is recommended reading at the Foreign Office. On their web site they list
books which cover topics key to the work of the Foreign and Commonwealth
Office in which they mention TERROR TRACKER 'an account of a journalist's
investigation of the internal workings of al Qaeda and international terrorism.
The three year investigation led to the arrest of the London-based cleric
Abu Hamza.'
Neil Doyle's second book, TERRORNAUT, was announced at the London Book Fair and will be published in September 2005.
