AWARDS SHORTLIST
HARRY GREGG and FOR ALL THOSE LEFT BEHIND have
both been short-listed for the National Sporting Awards. HARRY
GREGG in the best biography /autobiography section and FOR
ALL THOSE LEFT BEHIND in the best new writer category.
RIGHTS SOLD
This
week we have accepted a substantial offer from a leading German publisher
for MASTERMINDS OF TERROR. The deal was handled by Christian
Dittus of the Fritz Agency. He has also sold HOOLIFAN to a new publishing
company specialising in sport. Dutch, Spanish and Scandinavian deals
for MASTERMINDS OF TERROR are also imminent.

BEST-SELLERS
CATCH
ME IF YOU CAN is topping the US best seller list. We hope
that the UK release next week will propel the Mainstream edition to
the top of the UK bestseller lists.
Author, Frank Abagnale, will appear on Channel 4's RICHARD AND JUDY
on 27th January and will be interviewed by THE GUARDIAN and THE TIMES
at the première.
TOP CAT, the autobiography of Clive Rowlands, was listed
at No. 3 in the bestseller list in the January edition of Rugby World.
EXTRACTS
The HOMELAND extract
will finally appear in THE MAIL ON SUNDAY this weekend, the 26th January.
THE SCOTSMAN has bought second rights which will run next week. There
will also be an interview with author Nick Ryan on BBC Radio 5 Weekend
News.
And Finally...
Mandy Jamieson, London rep and Mainstream veteran, will be gracing the
red carpet at the première of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. Look our for
