Nick Ryan. Finished copies came in on December 17th and are being sent
to everyone who has expressed interest. The book will be published in
the UK in February.
FILM TIE IN
CATCH
ME IF YOU CAN premiered in the US on December 16th to rave
reviews. We are reissuing the book by Frank Abagnale with a movie tie
in cover to coincide with the British release of the film early in
the New Year.
SERIALISATION AND SALES OFF THE PAGE

serialisation of WAR OF THE WINDSORS in the Daily Mail
on November 30th almost 1000 copies have been sold off the page. The
book has been reprinted and finished copies go into our warehouse today.
The Australian media have also picked up on the book and a serial deal

BOOK OF THE YEAR
Published
two years ago SHUT UP AND SMILE was recently reissued
in the States as BAD AND BEAUTIFUL - INSIDE THE DAZZLING AND
DEADLY WORLD OF SUPERMODELS by Citadel Publishing. Jackie Collins
chose it as her book of the year in the Mail on Sunday Christmas round
up.
WILLIAM HILL SPORTS BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD
Donald
McRae won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award. He is the first
author to win the Award twice. His first winner, DARK TRADE (wrongly
attributed to Headline in The Bookseller!) was published by Mainstream.
WEB SALES
Web sales have trebled in comparison to the same period last year. The
best selling books on the web have been TEAM ON THE RUN -
the story of Linda McCartney's cycling team, SCOTTISH FIRSTS, GULLHANGER and WAR
OF THE WINDSORS.
And Finally...
The office closes for Christmas on December 24th. Our Spring / Summer
Sales Conference will be on Tuesday January 9th and the next newsletter
will be sent out that week. Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New
Year.
