NEW DEVELOPMENTS FOR MS SUFFERERS (184018 4647) by Jan de Vries was
published at the end of July. It draws on Jan's 40 years' experience
of treating MS sufferers. He proves that a gluten-free diet is highly
beneficial - not only as a means of controlling MS, but also for those
suffering from autism and schizophrenia. It includes a simple and thorough
guide on how to follow a gluten free diet.

Published
in August is BURKE AND HARE: The Year of the Ghouls (184018 5759)
by Brian Bailey. This tells of early nineteenth-century Edinburgh which
was gripped by fear of body snatchers. Burke and Hare were serial killers
who sold their victims to the medical school for dissection. They murdered
at least 16 innocent victims, including a 12-year old boy, in the name
of medical science. Bailey reveals a sordid side to a society which was
famed for its intellectual and progressive thinking, yet depended on
predatory criminals for the advance of medial knowledge. A compulsive
and absorbing book that is available to buy from our site now.
And Finally...
We have just signed Frank Maloney's autobiography. Due for publication
in September 2003, it will begin with the phone call that ended Lennox
Lewis and Frank Maloney's partnership. He will tell the untold story
of what went on and the legal battles that quickly followed Frank's sacking.
A must for all boxing fans.
