NEW ACQUISITIONS:
December 2002 will mark the 5th Anniversary of the death of LVF Leader Billy
Wright while in the Maze Prison. To mark the occasion Chris Anderson,
a freelance journalist and former member of the Ulster Defence Regiment,
is writing his biography, encouraged by Tim Pat Coogan, the definitive
historian of the IRA. Coogan is known on both sides of the Atlantic
and it is hoped that he will write the foreword.
Following
the great success of THE FOOTBALL BUSINESS by David Conn we have
commissioned a follow up to be entitled GOING DOWN: FOOTBALL IN CRISIS.
The author, Simon Banks, is a qualified accountant, financial journalist
and football consultant for THE NEWS OF THE WORLD.
CONFIRMED PUBLICITY FOR SPRING TITLES:
THE
TIMES are running an interview with Paolo Hewitt regarding his book, THE
LOOKED AFTER KID, on 9th May. He will also be interviewed on the
Nicky Campbell Show on BBC Radio 5 Live on the 9th.

REVIEW OF BOOKS, TIMES LITERARY SUPPLEMENT and DAILY MAIL. THE TIMES
EDUCATIONAL SUPPLEMENT will run a feature on 19th April.
DEADLY
DIVISIONS by Reg McKay and Paul Ferris was extracted in the NEWS
OF THE WORLD on Sunday 7th April.
KINGS
FOR A DAY was plugged on CHANNEL FOUR RACING and TALK SPORT in
the run up to the Grand National on Saturday 6th April.

There
will be a half page interview with cricketing twins, THE BEDSERS in
Monday's DAILY TELEGRAPH. The interview coincides with the paperback
publication of Alan Hill's biography in the Mainstream Sport imprint.
BREAKING
THE BONDS is doing very well, with interviews on RTE, RADIO FOYLE
AND ULSTER RADIO and a confirmed review in the IRISH TIMES. START
THE WEEK, BBC Radio 4 have requested an interview with Fionnuala O'Connor
on the 15th April.
MATTHEW
SMITH will be on Nicky Campbell, BBC Radio 5 on Monday 8th April to discuss
his latest book JFK: THE SECOND PLOT.
