News 23 November 2001
After last weeks hot bed of media activity regarding JIHAD a semblance
of normality has returned to Mainstream.
MARTIN
McGUINNESS and BIN LADEN have over taken JIHAD in terms of
column inches. Following the McGUINNESS serialisation in the Sunday Times
last weekend there have been features in the Telegraph and The Guardian
who have also requested an interview with the author. The biography had
sold out before publication and has had to be reprinted this week.
The authors received the following letter from a US resident who read
the Sunday Times extract on line:
18 Nov 2001
"My heartfelt thanks to you and everyone else involved for
the hard work, diligence and integrity in the difficult and dangerous
task of bringing this information to the public.
"Every decent civilised person in Ulster should thank you
all."
THE
BEDSERS, which received wonderful reviews when it was published in April,
has been nominated for the Cricket Society Jubilee Literary Award. The winner
will be announced in January.
